Windows 10 and 11. Free to use, no account required. The audio engine ships inside the installer — no Python, no ffmpeg, no toolchain to set up. Pro audio tools require licence activation, and one piece arrives later: the separation model. The first time you split a track into stems it downloads once, and every separation after that is offline on your own CPU. Stem-Aware mastering runs that same separation, so it pulls the same model — whichever of the two you reach for first pays the wait, and the other is already warm. Pro unlocks with a licence key you buy once. macOS comes after Windows, and we are not putting a date on it until the Windows build is solid.
This is the page the download will appear on. It is empty because the first Windows release has not passed its publication checks. When it ships, the installer, its version and SHA-256 will appear here.

Verify before installing
Public Windows installers are released only after publisher-signature checks. Confirm the downloaded file's SHA-256 matches the version above, and check its Digital Signatures tab for the expected GRIDWERK publisher before running it.
A new signed app can still trigger a reputation warning. If Windows shows an unexpected publisher, a hash mismatch, or another security warning, stop and contact us rather than bypassing it. Signing and a matching hash are release checks, not a guarantee of safety.
You can calculate the file hash with certutil -hashfile GRIDWERK-Setup-<version>.exe SHA256
and compare it with the value shown on this page for that version.
Before you install
- Windows 10 or 11, 64-bit. Roughly 3 GB of disk for the install, most of it the bundled audio engine, plus whatever the stem-separation models take once you fetch them. macOS comes after Windows.
- Your audio processing is local. GRIDWERK reads DAW projects and samples on your machine. Licence checks, optional connected features and opt-out crash reports have separate data flows; see Privacy.
